Title: AI Applications in IoT and Telecommunications for Next Generation Smart Society
Organizer: Prof. Azril Haniz, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan and Prof. Thanaruk Theeramunkong, Sinrinthon International Institute of Technology, Thailand
Scope:
In recent years, the field of machine learning and AI have experienced explosive growth in NLP and image processing applications. There is also a growing interest among researchers to adapt and apply these state-of-the-art AI techniques to solve complex problems in various aspects of wireless communications or wireless related technology, such as the optimization of networks, resource allocation and so on. Furthermore, advances in deep learning techniques enable us to capture more complex patterns regarding the radio environment around us, which is crucial in developing fully-aware smart radios. This special session aims to introduce several interesting applications of these machine learning and AI techniques from various perspectives, including speakers from both Japan and Thailand.
